About the Position

Assignment period: Feb 9, 2026 - Dec 31, 2026 with a strong possibility for extension.

Due to the growth of the client's property portfolio in connection with a larger acquisition, we are now seeking a property engineer to strengthen the operational work related to a cohesive maintenance planning. The portfolio consists of approximately 1200 apartments and about 5000 sqm of commercial premises distributed across 41 buildings. The technology unit, to which the role belongs, is responsible for technical installations and their support systems, which involves planning and management of operations/energy optimization and maintenance, as well as compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

The role involves overall work related to technical management with a focus on effective maintenance/inspection/planning for sustainability and goal fulfillment. The assignment involves being responsible for and coordinating the planned maintenance within the technical management for the acquired portfolio in a rational and efficient manner. The assignment may also be broadened to include other properties owned by the client. The work is primarily carried out in close collaboration within the technology unit and with the management unit.

Main Responsibilities:

• Maintenance inspection of the portfolio.
• Establish maintenance planning in the property system (Greenwiev).
• If applicable, project manage the execution of maintenance measures.
• Identify areas within technology and energy where there is potential for savings.

Placement

The role is based at the client's office in Hammarby Sjöstad, and work on-site is a central part of the assignment. Some of the work can be performed remotely with regular on-site meetings.

Qualifications

Mandatory Requirements:

• Relevant higher education/university degree in engineering or equivalent. Property/building/HVAC engineer or equivalent knowledge level acquired in another way that the client assesses as equivalent.
• 10 years of experience in a similar role within technical management or related fields in the real estate industry, with documented experience of similar work.
• Documented knowledge and experience of working with technical building systems, installation systems/functions for water supply, HVAC, cooling, etc.
• Good knowledge of laws, regulations, and standards within technical management, as well as construction law.
• In-depth and documented knowledge of, and experience in, property economics and technical, economic calculations, especially LCC calculations.
• Documented experience in design, project management, installation coordination, quality monitoring, and inspections.
• Good IT and administrative skills related to a digital working method.
• Requirement: Driver's license B.

Desirable Requirements:

• Experience in energy efficiency within residential companies.
